Project Description

Bowling Green State University in Ohio is a repeat conference winner in men’s ice hockey, and an NCAA national champion. Their current arena is aged and lacks amenities, needs a new ice refrigeration system, and its second ice sheet is far too small to use for college hockey practice. There are opportunities to not only add more toilets and concessions, but private suites, increased seating, improved lobby and public areas, and even a student athlete training center.

JLG will be working with stakeholders over the next few months to identify their specific goals, then will help develop a series of ranked choices and costs so that BGSU can choose a project budget and begin to implement the designs. In addition to physical additions and alterations, JLG will use our expertise to craft branding and image changes for the arena and its users.
